Motorcycle Driving Course A1
The course is designed to prepare you for the Module One and Module two tests. The training includes practicing angle starts from parked vehicles and hill starts as well as the fundamental road riding techniques like controlled stops and emergency responses.
The IME course will teach you the fundamentals of riding a motorbike, and develop mental strategies that are safe. It can also help you earn an insurance discount premiums.
Theory
The course includes all the theoretical preparation you need to pass the exam. You can study on your own using online classes as well as the theory materials. After registering in our system you will receive instructions on how to participate in these classes remotely in the virtual classroom (in Finnish). You can then select the most suitable time for your needs.
In this section your instructor will guide you understand the fundamentals of motorcycling. You will be taught about traffic rules and safety tips along with some of the more complicated components of the vehicle. In addition to the mandatory knowledge for all licence categories you will also become acquainted with the particular requirements of your chosen category.
The eas theoretical module included in the course package will prepare you for your motorcycle driving licence theoretical test. This is a crucial element of your education and will assist you in passing the test. The test is a theory one. It consists of an essay exam that has 40 questions and 2 clips on the perception of hazards. You must answer at least 28 of the 40 questions correctly to pass the test.
In the majority of instances, your eas theory test will be scheduled one month prior to the date you reach the age requirement for the particular category of licence you are preparing for. The test must be conducted by a certified DVSA tester. If you do not pass your test on the first attempt, you'll need to wait at least two weeks before taking it again.
We ask you to pay any outstanding balance if you're not able to pass your theory test prior to the date you begin your eas training. This is to stop another student from gaining the seat reserved for this course. If you're unable to complete the theory test on the date stated in your training schedule, we will not be able to reserve any DVSA test for you as a resit and you will be required to pay the appropriate fee for resit at time of making the reservation.
Practical
In addition to the theoretical course and driving lessons, motorcycle driving courses also include a number of practical classes. These are the most important parts of your learning process and can be spread out over a few weeks or months, based on your requirements. This portion of the training will require you to own a motorcycle. It is essential to select the right motorcycle for you to control, not too fast or heavy. Start with a 50cc scooter or moped.
The practical test is the next stage after you have completed your theory course. The test is divided into two sections: Module 1 and Module 2. The first portion of Module 1 is an hour-long road ride. The second portion is an individual riding section lasting 10 minutes. Both parts are required to get your license.
You should practice basic motorcycle maneuvers, such as the figure 8 slalom or emergency stop, in order to prepare for your module two motorcycle test. These skills will allow you to know what the examiner is looking for. Make sure that your bike is in good shape and you've got all the necessary gear including a helmet, gloves and a jacket. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your driving license.
It's important to note that the pass certificate for a motorbike driver's license is valid only for two years. If you don't pass the test within this time then you'll need to take the theory course again.
If you're looking to move up to a different category of vehicle, you'll need to do Module 5. This is the progress portion of the course which lets you change your license without having to go through the entire IBT program over again. It is essential to complete this course on the type of motorcycle you're planning to use, and the course must be approved by your instructor.
You'll require a motorcycle that is road-legal (taxed and insured, and with an active MoT if it's over three years old) that has full-sized L-plates on the front and rear, and fitted with mirrors. You'll also need to ensure that the motorcycle is suitable for the test, and has a helmet and clothing suitable for the weather.
The Assessment
Before you start training for the A1 motorcycle license you must have completed your Initial Basic Training (IBT). This eight-hour course teaches the skills necessary for safe riding. This course is part of RSA's Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme, which helps improve road safety. Once you've completed IBT the instructor will give you feedback and make a recommendation as to whether you are ready for the next stage of training or not.
Once you've completed the IBT Your instructor will prepare you for the A1 practical test. The test is divided into two parts. You must pass both in order to obtain your license. Module 1 is off-road manoeuvres like controlled stops, a slalom, and around cones. Module 2 is on-road and involves following a road with different traffic conditions.
The Module 1 test lasts for 20 minutes and assesses your ability to perform off-road maneuvers like slow-speed rides or a figure eight. You'll also be required to perform a U-turn, and an emergency stop.
If you pass the modules 1 and 2 tests after which you'll be allowed to ride a motorbike that has up to 35 kW of power. This is the initial part of the full A license, which allows you to drive manual or automated motorbikes or scooters.
It's important to keep in mind that your A1 licence will only be valid for two years. After two years, you'll need to upgrade to an A2 license that gives you more freedom to drive.
A1 courses include both practical and theory classes. The amount of practical training you receive is contingent on your level of experience with the bicycle. The amount of classes vary from school to school. Sign up for the A1 course as soon as possible so that you can take both your practical and theoretical tests at the same time. Licensing
The first step towards getting a motorcycle license is the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). If you pass it the test, you are able to legally ride on the road a bike with the maximum power of 35 kW. This can be anything from a moped to a motor scooter that is small.

This test involves a series riding maneuvers on the motorcycle provided by your instructor. You should also be able to demonstrate that you can control the bike in various situations and in all weather conditions.
To pass the test, you must have completed at least five hours of training on Federal or Country Roads and four additional hours during daytime or at dawn. You must also complete the required number of special rides. The instructor will inform you when you are ready to take the test and give you tips on how to pass it.
